CreativeMornings Utrecht | Happiness | Victor van Gaasbeek

CreativeMornings Utrecht | 1 February 2013 | In De Ruimte (Oudegracht 230A) | 08:30 (AM) |  A creative presentation on Happiness by graphic designer Victor van Gaasbeek

CreativeMornings is a monthly breakfast lecture series for creative types. Each event is free of charge, and includes a 20 minute lecture, plus coffee!

On 1 February 2013, CreativeMornings Utrecht will host its 10th creative lecture at “In De Ruimte” (Oudegracht 230A), opening at 08:30 (AM). Presented by illustrator and graphic designer Victor van Gaasbeek, his talk establishes a new CreativeMornings format for 2013. For the first 6 months of the year, creative lectures will focus on global, unified themes, preselected by the six original CreativeMornings Chapters. In effect, January has been dubbed as the month of Happiness.

While joy is arguably both a stimulus and end-result of creativity, many consider happiness to be on a higher plane. Be that as it may, Van Gaasbeek believes that a happy creative is ultimately, a better one.

As a champion of the digital arts, this up-and-coming graphic artist is best known for his Sliced Pixel Project and his work for international brands such as Nike and WIRED Magazine. Though his youth is outweighed by his wealth of experience, Van Gaasbeek never misses the opportunity to learn something new and may well give us a glimpse of the secret to achieving creative bliss. ✌
